LinkThis recipe is adapted from an episode of Cook’s Country; which itself adapted the traditional “milk can dinner” used by chuckwagon cooks in the Old West (meat and vegetables were saved in an empty milk can, then cooked over the coals that night). You can adjust or substitute the amounts of any ingredient, based on what you have in your pantry.

We had this for dinner tonight and its awesome! Try it sometime soon.

(Note: This recipe came about when trying something new with my Fiesta Soup by adding cabbage; the results were so delicious, I decided it deserved its own separate entry! I imagine this would be great with some avocado slices on top, but I didn’t have any at the time.
We had this for dinner tonight, it was delish!
Sesame Chicken, My Favorite! on Flickr.
The Red Ginger Bistro has some of the best sesame chicken I have ever had. I am picky about this dish because its my favorite chinese dish. I was not disappointed here. It’s served with ham fried rice which was very good too.
