The Old Guy, The Younger Follower, How Does This Work?

I am a middle-aged dork and it always amazes me when I get younger followers. Many of them are like half my age. I am not all that cool y’all. Sometimes my efforts to be relevant come across as being silly or head shaking. Maybe people like genuine people no matter what time of life they are in.

Hello good people! I hope all is well today with each of you. Grace and peace.

I work for a blood bank and I am doing my thing to help keep the supply of blood available to those who need it. My work is challenging and fun. Today seems to be a bit slow but it’s not how you start but how you finish.

This afternoon I am going to a visitation for a dear person that recently passed away from a 10-year battle with cancer. She was a great woman of faith who is no longer suffering. She’s hanging out with the saints who have gone on before.

Looking at the calendar and its hard to believe there is only 10 more days left in the month. However it also seems that things have gone by slowly.

Thanks for putting up with my State Of The Union posts last night. It was something I wanted to chronicle and curate. I was surprised by how much attention they got.

Every so often a new url/address on Tumblr is needed. You wanna have something fresh and new or perhaps you are hiding from someone. Well if you want to keep people in the know be sure to let your followers know before you do it, after and mention it a few times later to be sure folks know what’s going on. Creativity

It’s amazing what one can create when they take their time and look around to see what can inspire them. My blogging is about life and things that have inspired me along the way. Getting ideas for posts can come from anywhere at anytime. I really enjoy the process of building a post based upon something I have seen or heard. Creativity is needed more than ever to come up with not only blog posts but solutions for many other things in life. So as you wonder what to post try writing things down and see where it leads you.

Whatever you are doing today that you may be struggling with just know you can do this. Keep on moving forward and things will be alright. It happened for me today. You have to keep working and to stay as positive as possible. You got this.
