Survivor 30 Begins Tonight! Blue collar vs. white collar vs. no collar should be an interesting experiment in how folks from different social and economic backgrounds compete with and against each other. 

The granddaddy of reality competition shows does a great job in keeping things fresh and interesting. Jeff Probst is one of the toughest questioners and best hosts on TV. It all starts tonight at 8:00 PM on CBS TV.

Rambling About Commercials


Some commercials do a great job of getting in your head and never leaving. There are visuals that make you ask what did I just see. The way you do ads these days is a clever hook, interesting gimmicks and famous people. Yes sex does help here but that is for another discussion. I guess the advertising agencies earn their money that way in the 21st century.

On Wednesday Williams, NBC News’ top anchor, confessed he “bungled” a story he had told on air about being in a helicopter that was shot down by an RPG in 2003. His admission came after multiple soldiers questioned the tale, which he has told on multiple occasions, and revealed he was actually not in the aircraft.
