Yes on Blackout day there needs to be humor. It’s cold in much of the USA and we are ready for a warmer season. Lionel Richie is one of the great artists of our time is also meme worthy.

Rambling About Jokes

I am a huge fan of corny jokes that sometimes I only find funny. Often times those jokes escape my head and I have to invite others to the happy party inside my head. To me its better to laugh than anything else. Perhaps if we had more humor in the world it would be a much nicer place granted that humor is not about tearing people down or demeaned individuals. Laughter is the best medicine as they say. 

Commentary on 50 Shades

I am looking forward to the new movie Fifty Shades of Lamps, its going to be enlightening and illuminating. 

Seriously the movie “50 Shades of Grey” is overhyped and contrived. It reminds me of the movie “Indecent Proposal” from back in the day. I think romance, sex and more importantly love deserve a better platform than this. Women deserve to be treated better in books, film and in life and this film and this book isn’t helping matters. 

I have been told I won’t be missing anything and I am glad. 

My blog will not be having a fall finale. I am afraid I would lose readers and a cherished character will be killed off.

I am wondering why there isn’t a iPhone float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?

I think a pumpkin with a flame thrower or lasers would be awesome for Halloween or anytime of year for that matter.

I wonder how many folks on Tumblr are going as slutty bloggers for Halloween?

I haven’t seen any football this weekend. No college or pro. I don’t even have a dude card to turn in, that went out the window years ago. It’s all good though.

Lightening Up

My blog has had a serious theme for the past few weeks (except for my birthday and the new season of Doctor Who)…I am thinking I need to lighten up a bit. Humor can be a great cure for what ails us all. So look out for some funny posts and some stuff from You Tube maybe. Having a relevant blog means knowing how to have timely fun.
