Biscuits and Gravy


There’s nothing like biscuits and gravy on a Saturday morning. It’s good other times too but it seems to taste better on a day like this. It’s interesting that gravy is really nothing more than a bechamel sauce which is the mother sauce in French cooking. I add a little cheese to my gravy to give it some flavor and some protein. Biscuits are a staple in many cuisines but in the south they are a big thing. I am not a very good blogger because I didn’t take a picture of my breakfast this morning but it is OK, sometimes you just wanna eat without doing the hipster thing.
