In watching the movie “Lincoln” I have observed that politics is a blood sport. It’s not for pansies. It’s full contact. It’s sad how folks have to sell their souls to advance their cause. Politics is local and national but each is cut throat. Sometimes it’s about sacrifice and compromise, not that you see much of it these days.
