To my fellow bloggers in the north who will experience a great winter storm I hope you all will stay safe and warm. Take care of yourselves and be ready. Keep us up on what’s going on there.
My fellow Southerners this weather is something beautiful, strange and something we experience every once and awhile. Our DNA is not equipped to handle lots of frozen weather. Please be careful, don’t get out unless you absolutely have to. Winters here aren’t supposed to get this cold and have this much precipitation so often. Stay warm and inside. Keep calm, we will get through this.
To my friends in the north, we feel sorry for you because you go through this thing a lot traditionally. It’s good to experience life from a different view.
Apparently the Chattanooga area is going to have some winter weather happening early this week. A TV station is already issuing a Winter weather watch for many counties in the surrounding area. We will have to see what happens but it looks like we should be ready for the possibility of some bad conditions.
Chattanoogans felt the season’s first serious cold snap this week, and with it came news of our first possible snowfall. The fact that the snow was characterized as only a chance of flurries by local meteorologists is of no importance. The Tennessee Valley takes its snow very seriously, whether it is in blizzard form or invisible.
(We here in Chattanooga are not always cool in the chaos of winter weather. You who aren’t from these parts will get a kick out of this)
It must be bad when you are home schooled and its all sorts of winter weather outside. School is always in session for you.
Winter weather its on its way for Chattanooga tomorrow. Local schools have been canceled for Friday. Its going to be much colder in the morning and we are expecting ice and more wet stuff. Its going to be an interesting morning tomorrow.
