I hope you have enjoyed the eighties feels tonight. Its been fun blogging about my favorite decade ever. Great memories of some great movies and their amazing talent. Michael J. Fox, Helen Slater, Christian Slater, Winona Ryder, Shannen Doherty have lit up the big and small screens for years. It was great to see “Heathers” and “The Secret of My Success” tonight. I feel younger again.
Taking a cinematic trip back to the eighties – HEATHERS!
Heathers is a 1988 black comedy film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. The film portrays four girls — three of whom are named Heather — in a clique at a fictional Ohio high school. (from Wikipedia)
This movie is dark, funny and different. Winona Ryder is a rage journal writer who could be a rage blogger. Christian Slater is a brooding loner who has been to many high schools in his time. They come together as a couple of people who have more in common. Its a great movie about high school angst and shows that being wildly popular isn’t all its cracked up to be.
