Something retro and nostalgic about watching a movie on one of these. Dusting off the old VCR and letting it spin around. Takes us back to a simpler day. Of course you have to rewind it. The sound it made when you rewound it just made you feel good. Ahhh the gold old days.

While You Were Sleeping this was our VCR flashback movie of the day. Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman are good in this light hearted rom-com. Its great to see some old movies on VHS videotapes.

Something I miss about VHS tapes. We have seen some Christmas movies this year on our VCR.

The Muppet Christmas Carol on VHS – Tonight we are kicking it old school by our VCR. This is how home video used to roll before Netflix, iTunes and the like. Remember you have to rewind it before you watch it again.

The muppets give us their take on this classic Christmas story. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Michael Caine and the rest of the Muppets are great in this movie.
