Dashboard Changes

Standard

Many Tumblr folks don’t react well to changes in the dashboard. The reality of it all is that change on the web is a fact of life. New things will replace old things that don’t work so well. Innovative features will make blogging easer and more. The web and people are things in constant change. It’s all good my friends, adapt and learn about how the new can make what you do better. Change is everpresent, nothing stays the same.

Filters On The Tumblr Dashboard

Standard

If you follow a lot of people on Tumblr I wish there were ways to set up filters so you could streamline your dashboard experience. What I want is to see mostly original posts so there should be a way to filter those things out. Or someone wants to see a lot of fandom things so that option should be available too. You could do this using the tagging system and setting that up on your dashboard. For some people its overwhelming what they see from the people they follow. This is just a thought.

Blogging and Spelling

Standard

Writing is a huge part of blogging, for me at least. My spelling seems to not be what it once was so when writing I have to look up a common word to know how its spelled. I guess we are so used to auto correct (which Tumblr doesn’t have) and spell check (which Tumblr used to have). Blogging is my passion and I hope to never be frustrated by my sometimes lapse of spelling that I quit doing it altogether.

Follower Management

Standard

Its too bad I can’t manage the list of people following me. I can’t advance to another page or anything. Maybe they should merge the list of your followers with the list of folks you follow that way you can cross reference the two. What’s going on folks?
