Yesterday can feel like last week. Last week can feel like last month, last month can feel like six months ago, a year can feel like and eternity. When it comes to time it is indeed hard to believe how fast it goes. We are never standing still, always moving, always changing. Time does march on and we are always on the move. So when you think about it we are all time travelers.

Global Perspective
StandardIt’s good to be reminded that the east coast of the United States of America is not the center of the universe. Much happens here but its not the only place where important things happen. It’s good to get perspectives from people from other parts of the world. Blogging is a good example of how connected we are. We do indeed live in a world community. Our globe is made up people from all walks of life in all the great places of creation and I am grateful for that.
Daylight Saving Time (United States) begins at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 8, 2015. This means one less hour of sleep.
If I have made an appointment with you, I owe you punctuality, I have no right to throw away your time, if I do my own.

Time and Money
StandardEverything comes down to price and convenience if you think about it. Do we have time to devote to something and will it fit into our calendar and is it close by. Friends, most people are about time and money…two things we seem to have less of these days, although we still have the same 24 hours in a day but our money is always in flux.. Time and money are things we lament and celebrate in our culture. This is really a statement on what our values and priorities are.
Make Best Use of The Time You Have
StandardLife is a challenge for so many people. Many cope with things that keep them from enjoying life to its fullest. Whether it be physical or emotional issues everyone is impaired from getting out there and making the most of it. It hurts me when people in my life for one reason or another aren’t doing things to use the time they have on this Earth. Our lives are as long as we are given time to live them so we have to do what we can to love, laugh, grow and to have others in them. So work on making the best use of the time you have from birth to the time you leave our planet for your eternal destination.
Time Is Flying, Maybe It Should Crawl
StandardIt’s hard to believe its early September. Time is indeed flying and before you know it the holidays will be here. Fall is my favorite season and it will be interesting to see how it goes. Perhaps we should not want time to go so fast that we miss something good. Lets take things day-by-day. Let’s live in the moment, make memories that last. Slow it down a bit.
BBC – Science & Nature Programmes – Hawking
LinkHawking stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the young Stephen Hawking who, as a bright and ambitious 21-year-old PhD student at Cambridge University, is diagnosed with the debilitating motor neurone disease and given two years to live. Against the odds, he goes on to achieve scientific success and worldwide acclaim, in particular with his best-selling book A Brief History Of Time.
Note: We saw this on Father’s Day (at my dad’s request) and it was a really good movie. Benedict Cumberbatch does a great job of portraying Stephen Hawking who is one of the world’s most famous men of science. I think Hawking has some good things to say but as a man of faith I believe that God is responsible for creation, however I see there is some things about time and space that can be divinely created. I came away from this with a new respect for the contributions of Stephen Hawking.
Spring Forward, Turn Your Clocks Forward One Hour!
I hate this every year. Losing one hour sleep isn’t good. Why we still do this is beyond me.
As I Get Older
StandardI hope I will be able to keep a youthful spirit, have an open mind, continue to learn, adapt with change and relate to people of all ages, races and places. I want to be able to carry on conversations that inform me and that will inform others. May I get better and love more as I get older.
