Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale Arizona @ University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Seattle Seahawks vs. The New England Patriots.

I am cheering on the Seahawks because Seattle is a center for nerd/hipster culture and with all this talk of deflated footballs with the Patriots perhaps Seattle can take this one.

Now my blogging friend lorilovesowls is a Patriots fan and I want her to know I have nothing against New England BTW.

SUPER BOWL XLVIII – Denver Bronco’s vs. Seattle Seahawks

It’s Super Bowl Sunday as the two best teams in the National Football League battle it out on the field of MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. People all around the country will gather in homes, clubs and other places to see the game and yes enjoy the commercials. If you are watching the game enjoy it.

My heart says Seattle will win but my head is thinking Denver. Can one be anymore diplomatic or non-committal than that.

The game is going to be on The Fox Television Network at 6:00 PM.

Tony’s Sausage Queso Dip – A Great Super Bowl Snack Idea

Standard

I make a dip that is enjoyed by family and friends. There are many variations on this queso dip that others make. My opinion is that anytime there is cheese, cream cheese, sausage and sour cream are involved then you can’t go wrong.

  • 1 Roll of Breakfast Sausage (spiciness optional)
  • 1 Brick of Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 4 Cups of Shredded Cheese (I like a blend of Monterrey Jack, Queso, Asadero, Cheddar)
  • 1 Jar of Salsa (mild, medium or hot)

Brown sausage (drain grease) blend in cream cheese until melted and well incorporated. Add sour cream, shredded cheese and salsa. Stir ingredients together and let cheese melt. Add in cayenne pepper or other warm spices. Use a slow cooker to combine ingredients and keep the dip warm. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies.
