Verge: The second trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was released Thursday, eight months ahead of the movie’s premiere.

Sixteen men named Darth Vader have registered to run in Ukraine’s parliamentary elections.
They’re among a number of candidates vying for seats in the 26 October polls who have registered under the name of Star Wars characters – including Grand Jedi Master Yoda and Chewbacca.
Remember Darth Vader was a dad whose kids did pretty well for themselves. If your dad wasn’t so great at least he wasn’t a Sith Lord bent on universal domination in a dark helmet.

By now you’ve probably seen the viral Harry Potter characters’ Myers-Briggs types chart. When I first happened upon it last month, the timing could not be more uncanny; a friend had mentioned that her MBTI personality type had changed drastically over the years, so I had just taken the test again myself.
These were the movies of the Summer of 1977. The average movie ticket price was around $3.00 which is much cheaper than it is today. Star Wars would be cool to see again in the theatre.
My Fandom’s – I am a fanboy just like the next dude. My favorite science fiction shows are Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and The Terminator. These programs have captured my imagination over the years. They are shows that are personal and family favorites.
This Day In Geek History – Star Wars, was released on May 25, 1977, that was 36 years ago. Now I feel incredibly old.
