Scottish Oat Scones

This is what we had for breakfast this morning. My wife makes great scones.

I made these for the “afternoon tea” portion of an office progressive potluck. They were a nice pick-me-up during that 2:30 slump!

3 cups all-purpose white flour (or half white/half wheat)
4 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned or quick)*
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp granulated sugar (for tops)
2 tbsp + 2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
