Being Positive

Everyone can be a positive person. You have to be intentional about it and be willing to share your light. There are some folks who live a life with their heads in the clouds and that is sad. However you have a chance to find the silver lining there. I think being positive can be a hard thing to do in a very negative world with bad news happening all around. I guess it might be a faith thing that helps me but there choices everyone can make. Not everyone is in a position to be happy and positive because of life circumstances. It is those people who need help the most. However being kind is something everyone can do. If you need someone to help you along the way I am there.

Shiny Happy People

Having positive people in your life is a good thing. When our world is increasingly negative everyone needs someone with some happiness and joy about them. If one feels the blues faking it until you make it is a good practice. Be the change you want to see in the world. You know the REM song “Shiny Happy People”….yeah perhaps we do need more of that and we need to hold hands too.

Positively Awesome

Be an inspiration to someone you know today. Reach out to them with words of affirmation and empowerment.

The best thing I can do is to inspire others to be positive and share the light. Do something different and be the change you want to see.

Positive V. Negative

I try to be a positive person but when negative vibes surround me I find myself wondering what’s going on. We live in a world where people can be very gloom and doom. Some of their complaints are valid but some are just from hearing themselves repeat the same stuff over and over. There is plenty of fuel to fire up the pessimism of our world but perhaps a culture change is in order. Be grateful for what you have, don’t sweat the small stuff, try to be happy. Even in suffering some folks can have a light of hope and promise. Lets reclaim the web for goodness and fun. We all have a choice to listen to the influences that will make a difference or keep us mired in the muck that keeps people down. Help others see a light they can’t see just yet.

These are great virtues to have in the crazy world we live in. It’s hard to be positive when the world is somewhat negative, I do my best for me and those around me. Patience is something we want now. Persistence is having patience when things are going rough. The two doves remind me to have peace in all the chaos.

Being Positive

I have had some of my fellow bloggers compliment me on being such a positive person. Well, truth be told, I am not always 100% happy go lucky. Being a light in the world of darkness isn’t always easy.

When you have been without work as long as I have it can test you. Being positive requires an attitude of humility and kindness. Many people in the world need a lift and I do it because its the right thing to do.

God, throughout my life has shown me his light and I have some of that to share with others. We have to be realistic, people can be grouchy, irritable, testy and sad however when you are happy, joyous, loving, peaceful then lets share it with the world.

We all have a choice to allow the drama of the world to keep us down or be a light for others to see that can create the community we want to see.

Positive Me

I am touched by how my followers respond to my blog. The main comment is that I am positive. Well, I try to be. Sometimes its easy while other times it can be difficult. Being positive in a negative world goes counter to what the world seems to be about these days. Having a positive outlook and being inclusive can make the world a better place.
