March Madness Is Coming!
It’s that time for the NCAA Basketball Tournament which is better known as “March Madness”. Teams from around the country are wondering where they will be playing and if they will be playing. Above is a bracket that people will fill out and try to see if they can predict who will win at each stage of the tourney. It’s always an interesting time in American athletics.

The Penn State Punishment
StandardPenn State has been punished today with stiff penalties that are designed to change the culture of Football and athletics there. Vacate wins from 1998 through 2011 a $60 millon fine, 4 year bowl ban, 5 year probation and scholarship reduction with other penalties involved. The Jerry Sandusky case is a tragic one and there is no way this can make their pain and suffering easier but it hopefully sends a message that college sports is not more important than academics, honor, safety and more. These sanctions I hope will be enough and that no one should have to endure this sort of situation in the future.
