The More Things Change…
StandardWe are in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where I went to college at Middle Tennessee State University. From 2000-2004 we lived and worked here and have fond memories and great friends. Much has changed all over.
There are lots of new things and some old favorites are not here any longer. Even our church here has had some changes.
We are stunned at what cool thing are here now. But its hard to get around. Traffic is as bad as we remember. You can’t stop progress but it can go slow.
Things change, life goes on. Explosive growth in Murfreesboro has surprised us every time we have visited. We need to come back more often.
Yummo froyo in the ‘Boro. Aspen Leaf is quite good. Something new to me. (at Aspen Leaf Frozen Yogurt)
Hello Murfreesboro, its nice to see you again.
Go Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders this weekend as they go for a Sun Belt Conference football championship. They will be in a bowl game this year too! On Thursday, November 29th they announced the move to Conference USA. Lots of great things are happening on campus in Murfreesboro!

College football begins tomorrow. I have two teams I cheer for. My college alma mater Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders and the Chattanooga Mocs. The Blue Raiders face the Purdue Boilermakers while the Mocs face the Nebraska Cornhuskers. This time of year is fun and sparks rivalries and lively conversation. It promotes team spirit as well as civic pride. It’s a national tradition with big time fun for the South.
