A friend on Facebook called me inspirational in relation to my enthusiasm to my job. I have never been called inspirational before and I am not certain I am worthy to be called that. Yes I am a positive person but I also have my moments when I feel the blues and I am a little pessimistic. Everyone needs balance but when I am not down I choose to be up.
Ones attitude can impact their altitude I heard once. Maybe that person is on to something. Lets live life where you make it easy for yourself and others. I hope to inspire others while remaining humble and grounded. No need getting a big head.
Perfection is hard, impossible, boring. Be who you were meant to be and that is usually someone who is flawed.
Me, I Said This…Inspired By Life and Stuff

My football weekend has sucked…but you know there are more important things to be sad/concerned about. The sun will rise tomorrow and God is still good.
Ok, lets face it…I am as white as sour cream and mayonnaise. I am as Caucasian as it comes. However I appreciate our growing national diversity. People of colour and other nationalities have influenced me and have helped me understand others more.
It started for me at Hiwassee College where I was introduced to people from countries all over the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. So as a lily-white man from the south I have been blessed to know awesome people from everywhere around the globe.
This is a strong reminder that God is love, God created us all, there is no biological difference in people. We have experienced similar things in our lives that have shaped us the only difference is where they happened.
Its said the United States will have more non-whites in the country not too far in the distant future and to me that’s fine. I do not feel threatened in any way and why should I.
Diversity makes us stronger, we live in a world of color. Its good to recognize that for future generations. We must resist racism and ethnocentrism and nationalism so that our world community would come together in understanding and peace.
I am a Generation X dude in the same blogging community with Generation Y and who knows we might have a Baby Boomer around here. Ain’t Tumblr a great melting pot of people from different eras of history. Its cool to have things in common with people younger and older than me. This place should be for all ages as a place to express ourselves and connect with the world around us.
I am not here to make Tumblr uncool like some did to Facebook.
I admit my level of weirdness is above the national average, but I’m comfortable with that.
