I suck at math. Yeah I said it, I am horrible at math. Sure I can do simple addition and subtraction, multiplication and division. My grandmother taught me multiplication tables while we would drive around delivering for my family printing company but that is as far as that goes. There are some great people I know who are math teachers who I admire. What would my life be like if I were better at it.
A lot of fields require advanced math as a part of their business. NASA I bet is full of math wizards who crunch numbers all day to put people into space. You know accountants love complex formulas that they put on a spreadsheet.
Math is a language, an art and a discipline that I deeply appreciate but have never gotten the grasp of. Thank goodness for calculators and other people who know what they are doing with numbers. My friendship with math is strained at best.
