I hear Los Angeles has a lot of Smaug…or is that smog…I get confused often. 

The SyFy Channel is re-airing Sharknado tonight at 7:00pm (6:00pm central). For those who missed it, including me its a chance to see what the fuss was about. Maybe there will be a life lesson or culturally relevant statement to make in this. Sharks and Tornadoes seem to go together very well in this sort of thing.

The Christopher Dorner Situation

This situation with former Navy sailor and LAPD officer Chris Dorner has gripped the attention of the nation for the past few days. Its possible that its come to an end but officials are not sure. Today a San Bernadino deputy lost his life in the line of duty. Allegedly Mr. Dorner has killed and injured others as well.

We must remember those in law enforcement who are in harms way daily. Today is a sad day but lets hope its coming to an end.
