It’s hard to believe its the end of another season of Downton Abbey. I hope its less shocking than last seasons finale. Now we wait for next season which should debut in the winter of 2015.

Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes has defended a controversial storyline in the latest episode of the costume drama, which drew dozens of complaints. ITV received 60 complaints after Anna May Bates (Joanne Froggatt) was attacked and raped by a guest’s valet.
(This was totally unexpected and shocking.)

Downton Abbey Scores 12 Emmy Nominations. Including Best Drama, Best Actor in Hugh Bonneville, Best Actress, Michelle Dockery. Best Supporting Actor Jim Carter and Best Supporting Actress in Dame Maggie Smith. This is a decent, lovely show with a lot of humanity and family drama.
Gosford Park is a 2001 British mystery comedy-drama film directed by Robert Altman and written by Julian Fellowes.
It stars so many people from the UK that we know. Dame Helen Mirren, Dame Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Kristin Scott Thomas and many many more! There are so many Fandom connections here I can’t begin to list them all. This is our Friday night movie.

Its about a young man who goes to visit his grandmother’s estate during World War Two and things in the house take him back to earlier times in the history of the family. It’s a good flick.
It’s like this movie was a test film for a good number of the Downton Abbey cast.
