Who Knew?

Who knew that ITV and PBS could make the early part of the 20th century sexy and interesting. I didn’t know a lot about the era until I started watching Downton Abbey and Mr. Selfridge. The more you learn, the more you know.

Downton Abbey Season 4 Finale Tonight!

It’s hard to believe its the end of another season of Downton Abbey. I hope its less shocking than last seasons finale. Now we wait for next season which should debut in the winter of 2015.

It’s Downton Abbey Night In America!

The time has come for us to revisit our friends the Crawley’s. We can’t wait to see what will happen. It’s going to be awesome! Thanks to ITV, PBS and WGBH in Boston for making this wonderful show happen.

Friends and fellow Downton Abbey fans there will be a 5th season/series. Good news, we all agree. We here in the states haven’t seen season/series 4 yet but its good that the Crawley’s will be with us into the future.

Mr. Selfridge, PBS/ITV Has Another Hit – Jeremy Piven is great in this role. He captures the essence of a showman and a retailer in the early part of the 20th century. Masterpiece PBS is the place to be on Sunday nights.

Downton Abbey premiere did not disappoint. Great show tonight. Thanks PBS Masterpiece!

The United States has to wait til January but Downton Abbey series 3 will be showing in the UK very soon. It looks like things are changing a bit.
