I long for a day

I long for a day with no more violence, no more racism, no more sexism, no more bullying, no more students being gunned down, no more hate toward lgbtq people. That day will come but it will come on a day we all must be ready for. We all must be willing to sacrifice. Friends the more we hold onto the instruments of our destruction the more people will pay the price. God bless us all.

Another Shooting

It breaks my heart to hear about shootings. Whether they be in a school, military base, airport, our streets, in our homes, it doesn’t matter. The use of guns to kill in our world sickens me. The reasons for why people want to produce this sort of chaos mystifies me. We are in the 21st century and we should be in a time of peace but it seems the opposite. I pray that there will be no more situations like we are seeing at Los Angeles International Airport today. God have mercy

They bought guns, they loaded ‘em, they drove from Wheeling to Rosslyn, and until they pulled the trigger they had yet to commit a crime. I am so off the charts tired of the gun lobby tossing around words like personal freedom and nobody calling ‘em on it. It’s not about personal freedom. And it certainly has nothing to do with public safety. It’s just that some people like guns.
