Real vs. Fiction

It’s interesting how a quote from a fictional character on TV will get more reblogs and likes than someones original work they put their heart and soul into. Are real things no longer interesting? Does this mean we want to remove ourselves from the situation of the moment. Are people who actually exist boring? What do you think?

Stories

Stories of people living in the moment interest me. However I am making a effort to appreciate the stories of people who live in the imaginations of authors who have a story to tell. Reality in the present is a story being told in real time. A work of fiction is perhaps a story of how we would like things to be. Whatever our story whether it be biographical, fictional or other is, share it with the world who can identify with you.

Celebrating Real Heroes

I appreciate fictional heroes like the next person however I wish we lauded real heroes who give their lives to help and save others with even greater affection. There are people who do things every day to make our world better and to keep us from harm. Real heroes do amazing things that we don’t see on prime time TV or in the movies very often.

Not to be judgemental but I wish our passion for real things were just as deep as our desire for the imaginary things.
