Fall Finals and Graduations

Many college students are taking their fall finals at this time and I hope the very best for them as they prepare to take those exams. I remember those days very well.

I graduated in the Spring from Hiwassee College in 1992 with an associates degree. In the Fall of 1994 I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with my bachelors. So I have done both major seasonal graduations. I kind of like fall better.

So to all those preparing for a next semester or the next chapter of your lives may you have peace and grace for the days to come.. God bless.

Will the Polar Vortex be back. Shall we give it a shortened, hip nickname like PoVo? Just things to ponder as the weather gets cooler. I am not sure if I can take another winter like what we had.

Time Is Flying, Maybe It Should Crawl

It’s hard to believe its early September. Time is indeed flying and before you know it the holidays will be here. Fall is my favorite season and it will be interesting to see how it goes. Perhaps we should not want time to go so fast that we miss something good. Lets take things day-by-day. Let’s live in the moment, make memories that last. Slow it down a bit.

It seems hard to believe that The summer of 2014 has come to a close. This picture was taken at Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival in June. It sort of is the beginning of Summer here locally. Just think about how fast time has flown by. We now head into fall and we shall see how it unfolds.
