In my mind there is only one race on planet Earth and that is the human race. We might have different shades of colors but inside aren’t we all the same. Our diverse backgrounds make us special. No one is more important than another. We all come from different nationalities but those traditions are what make this world great. We are all the same in the eyes of God. Every one of us is a unique creation and that is awesome!
Love one another good people. You are all special!
When you look in the mirror what do you see? Perhaps the reflection is a person who is better than you think. I admit I am hard on myself and I don’t always like the person I look at in the mirror. When you look at yourself in the mirror, perhaps the person you see is someone who is better than you give your self credit for.
This morning in Church my pastor talked about how God sees us and its always better than we see ourselves. We are imperfect people, but we all have the promise to be better. Its all in how you see things. Your perception can be tainted by your life experience. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made so know you are special.
So as the example of the cat looking in the mirror and seeing a lion is something we can hold onto. We all can be like that. Have faith friends you are awesome!
Everyone has a reason to be on this Earth. God made you special ya know.
Psalm 148 is about how God’s creation longs to praise him, to pray to him, to adore him. From everything in nature to kings and royalty, the young and the old longs to praise the one who created it all. Everything that God made wants to share its adoration to the one who made this life for us possible. In the hymn “All Creatures of our God and King” its a song that is a call to God’s creation to worship and praise him with humbleness. Its a powerful testimony as to how this grand designer and maker of heaven’s and Earth just spoke and everything came into existence. The verse in Psalm 148 is kind of a rundown of how the creation story came about in Genesis and later in 1st John 1. It’s also a commitment to his people that he will sustain his creation as well. This is a commandment to us all to praise him wherever we throughout all eternity. Praising God and thanking him for his remarkable creation including us is a good thing.
