These were the movies of the Summer of 1977. The average movie ticket price was around $3.00 which is much cheaper than it is today. Star Wars would be cool to see again in the theatre.

StandardTonight at “Breaking Dawn” I saw the trailers of several movies that have a end of the world or all of humanity is dead theme. As a dude I would expect these movies to excite me but for some reason they don’t. What is needed on the silver screen is more hope, more fun, more life. Most folks are dealing with serious situations and a good comedy be it romantic or situational. The idea in my mind for movies is to take you away and help you forget the everyday situations of life. No one needs to be reminded they are on the edge of catastrophe, we need to be reminded that life and love are what will win the day.
This is going to be a good flick. I saw the original Swedish version and its intense and very mysterious. Lots of intrigue and geek stuff make this movie a good one. Ya gotta see it.
