I may or may not be watching delightfully sappy, romantic, cheesy Christmas movies on The Hallmark Channel.

The Holiday

This is a sweet, romantic movie featuring a dynamite cast. In my opinion this is my favorite Jack Black movie. Eli Wallach is very charming in this movie too. Nancy Meyers can do a movie right.

Hallmark Channel Has Us Hostage

I would like to report a hostage situation…The Hallmark Channel has had us since 1pm today. Their Christmas movies have us trapped. Can we get some help?

Just watched “The Polar Express”, a great animated version of the classic children’s story. Tom Hanks did a great job in this.

Elf: A Modern Christmas Classic

Will Ferrell is fantastic in this story of a man who was raised in the North Pole by elves who work in Santa’s workshop. He finds his dad in New York City and adventures ensue with his new found brother. We love this movie, there is some memorable dialogue that we love to quote. 

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

This movie is always the first Christmas movie we watch each year. It isn’t the holidays without this flick. Chevy Chase is epic in this classic family movie. 

Christmas Movie Tonight: Meet Me In St. Louis – This classic movie is technically not a Christmas movie but is a great cinematic treat. Judy Garland is truly radiant in this 1944 motion picture. She would go on to marry director Vincente Minnelli who did a great job of showcasing his future wife. The music and acting by the entire cast is simply superb.

Christmas Movie Fun

Its that time of year where Christmas movies make their annual showing. We love watching these cinematic tributes to the holiday season. In my opinion the more sentimental, sweet and sappy the better.
