Reality Check: Christmas and New Years!

Christmas was 3 days ago. New Years Day is 4 days away. Where is the time going?

Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great Christmas day.

Christmas Dinner, A New Experience: My mother has been the cook of many, many Christmas feasts. Turkey, ham, casseroles and the like have been lovingly prepared by her hands over the years. Today my mother was sick and running a fever. She couldn’t prepare today’s dinner so the rest of us took over. We cooked a turkey which was the first time my dad and I did it. My wife and sister helped in preparation of the casseroles and other dinner duties. In the end everything turned out great. This was a gift to me because I could gain some experience in doing some things I had never done before. My mother’s illness was not good but it brought us closer together and we made dinner happen.
