No matter our problems, reflect on the lessons of Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol” as the Cratchit family who have enormous odds against them, keep a positive attitude. Bob does not make a lot of money and has a family at home to feed and care for including Tim, a son who is very sick. It does bring perspective to our situations that family does matter and love will find a way through our problems. It also reminds us of many who have to make due with much less these days.

The Muppet Christmas Carol on VHS – Tonight we are kicking it old school by our VCR. This is how home video used to roll before Netflix, iTunes and the like. Remember you have to rewind it before you watch it again.
The muppets give us their take on this classic Christmas story. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Michael Caine and the rest of the Muppets are great in this movie.
We are watching Disneys: A Christmas Carol on Blu Ray tonight. Its a very good animated adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic tale. Jim Carrey is brilliant in this role. Gary Oldman, Bob Hoskins, Robin Wright Penn and Colin Firth round out a great cast.
