For years I called Tumblr my blogging home. I called it home when I had to migrate from the blogging platform known as Multiply before it closed. Tumblr is a good platform for blogging and connecting with fellow users. It is known by many as a microblogging platform but I really think it is more than that.
My reasons for migrating to WordPress are many. But my time with Tumblr as my primary blogging platform was good. I made some great blogging friends there. Now you can find me at http://tonyburgess1969.net where I am blogging full time now.
