Multiply was a social networking service with an emphasis on allowing users to share media – such as photos, videos and blog entries – with their “real-world” network. The website was launched in March 2004 (via Multiply (website) – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
I blogged at Multiply for a couple of years. While there I made friends from all over. The site was a great one stop shop for my media needs. However I wanted to use my own domain name, something they couldn’t do.
The closure of the social networking function saddens me. I spent much time there. RIP Multiply.
