Installing Windows Xp, It’s Slow

We are selling my wife’s old laptop and I am putting Windows Xp on it. The installation process is painfully long. Since switching to Ubuntu I am used to the install only taking about 45 minutes. Yes I had to reformat the hard drive but still. I hope the installation will work after its done.
