In my time of employment vacancy I am finding out that selling yourself is important. You can become your own brand just like a company or a product. All of your life experiences have made you who you are. Just like Pepsi, Apple or Volkswagen offer a product or Hilton provides a service the individual has something to offer that should be marketed. So as I engage in my job search I have to create a brand for myself and a part of that is a social resume that I can point to to demonstrate that my brand has value and can provide a service they can use to make their organization better.
I look forward to learning more and developing myself as a person and a brand.
