Today was long and quite sad for several reasons. We went to give our condolences to a friend of ours who’s mother passed away on Monday. She was 89 and married for 70 years. It’s amazing to be with someone that long and to have a marriage that lasted for 7 decades.
We have a family member to say farewell too soon. My cousin’s wife’s dad passed away after a second bout with cancer. He was a father, grandfather and a pastor and leaves behind a great family and congregation. Rev. Jim we love you and God bless those you leave behind.
It seems like the month has been a challenge. I hope for a much better September. I am ready for that.
